I’m very excited for this blog post because it’s featuring my sister!! She is totally camera shy but she knew we had to document this special moment of her trying on dresses for my wedding day.
She has a big role on the big day – she will be my maid of honor. I always knew she would be! I decided to not have bridesmaids rather just a MOH and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I’m sticking to these words in the process of planning for my wedding: less is more, keep it simple, fun, travel, and love! In this case, less is more, so Mike and I decided to just have a Best Man and MOH.
It was so much fun visiting David’s Bridal together and making the day all about her! It put a smile on my face every time she stepped out of the dressing room with a dress on. She just looked so radiant in them and it just sparked some happy emotions out of me. When it came to the dress, we decided to stick with the color forest green. Out of curiosity and for fun, I had her try on some other colors that were mostly on the neutral side. Like in my previous visits, the staff was very helpful and made the process of trying on dresses very easy and intimate for us. I also learned through them that a dress can come in a range of different color swatch options, which I found to be so convenient and amazing.
We had our top three dresses that we were trying to decide from. All three were long in length, classic, and beautiful. We especially loved one from the WHITE by Vera Wang collection that had some pretty and seamless open back straps. That was the dress we decide to go with – my sister found her dress!! I just can’t wait to see her in it on my wedding day! This sisterly moment together, having her try on MOH dresses, will forever be treasurable and memorable!
